Vintage Kansas trade/merchant token stamped with C.C.Aby General Merchandise, in Harper, Kansas, 1 1/4" in diameter. A mix of patina brass chain and sterling silver chain suspends the token in the 27" necklace, connected with citrine, amethyst, and turquoise. 1870-1920's saw the highest use of trade/merchant tokens, mostly for promotion and extending credit in rural towns.
